Dr. Clarisse Djeumo Djukom, MD knows what it feels like to do everything right — and still feel trapped in a body that won't cooperate. She achieved every external marker of success: the medical degree, the career, the family. And still, she found herself locked in the same cycle of emotional eating, shame, and exhaustion that her patients described in her exam room every day.

It wasn't until she began her own deep healing — studying the neuroscience of trauma, the physiology of chronic stress, and the profound connection between childhood experiences and adult eating patterns — that she understood the truth: the weight was never the problem. The weight was the symptom.

Why She Built The Safe Body

As a physician, Dr. Clarisse saw the gap every day: patients were being given meal plans when they needed nervous system regulation. They were being prescribed exercise when they needed inner child healing. They were being told to "just eat less" when their cortisol was physiologically driving them to eat more.

The Safe Body is her answer to that gap — a program that brings together medicine, trauma therapy, somatic healing, and behavioral science into one sequenced, compassionate 12-week journey.
